Meet Logan Wells

Hello! My name is Logan Wells, and I'm the founder of Fresh Friends!

Service has always made up a significant part of my life thanks to the influence of my parents and teachers, but I didn't get the final push to create Fresh Friends until after my freshman year of high school. I had a hard time with the middle to high school transition and found myself feeling very lonely at times, but where school couldn't help me, I leaned on the community I had built through service to fill in the gaps. That experience inspired the work I do with Fresh Friends, and over the past two years it has grown more than I ever could have expected.

 

Outside of my service work, I'm a high school senior and Columbia, SC native. Currently, I'm a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams at my school, as well as a Captain on the Varsity Sideline Cheer Team!

 

Right now, a lot of my time has been consumed by applying to colleges (as I'm sure most seniors can relate to) and preparing for Miss America's Teen, since in June I was crowned Miss South Carolina's Teen!

Outside of academics and sports, I am incredibly passionate about helping others, which is where my interest in community service and neuroscience stems from.
